Tropical Fish International (Europe) Ltd– is part of CIS INTERNATIONAL, a well established network of collectors, breeders & distributors. Originating in Jacksonville, Florida in 1991 and currently based from Los Angeles, CA, a Master Distributor of live tropical fish and related products. The related group of companies have since successfully integrated a best practice, driven, vertical supply chain and has established its own farms and export centres in Sri-Lanka, Thailand, Maldives, and is continually expanding.
At its core the Group has incorporated a Shared Services Centre underpinned by forward looking IT driven solutions, to help our customers reduce costs at origin, minimise in-house service costs and overheads and increase margins – contributing to the customer’s bottom line. At TFI, we guarantee to deliver high quality, freshwater and marine aquaria, to chain stores, distributors and retailers, at a competitive price, with optimum packs designed to reduce freight costs.

TFI works with our collectors and breeders throughout our supply chain, to provide the most accurate stock lists and the best possible product, week after week. We offer weekly fresh and marine fish shipments from Sri Lanka, Maldives and Thailand. Consolidated livestock shipments are offered from North and South America, enabling marine shipments from Mexico and the Caribbean, Africa and South America.

Tropical Fish International UK is part of the CIS International Group who currently provide wholesale livestock to the USA and Asian markets, a truly international company offering retailers direct access to sourced aquaria from source.
Over 15 years of experience in supplying multi site retailers in the USA means livestock is delivered in a safe and timely manner via established inventory management systems. This means easy transparent stock control for all customers.
Located just minutes from Los Angeles Airport (LAX), this is one of the world’s most productive areas for marine and freshwater tropical fish.
Our Bangkok fish farm and distribution centre is conveniently located minutes away from the International Airport to ensure that the transportation time is kept to a minimum.
A wide range of freshwater tropical fish is offered from Thailand, including a very impressive selection of Bettas. Chances are, we have what you are looking for. Volume is no concern, as our farm can handle output of 50,000 to 100,000 Bettas per week. We also offer a large assortment of Sharks, Mollies, Algae Eaters, Cichlids and Discus.
TFI is a great source of aquatic plants, for both pond and aquarium use. We can supply a wide range of water lilies and lotus, as well as potted, bunched and loose plants.
With its location in the middle of the Indian Ocean and its abundant selection of saltwater and freshwater tropical fish, Sri Lanka is the perfect source for any aquaria requirements.
Our Sri Lankan tropical fish farm breeds world-class Livebearers and Angels including some of the best fancy Guppies available in the market today. Our Guppies are hardy and have the colours, patterns and fins your customers demand. When it comes to saltwater aquaria, Sri Lanka is the premier source for many of your must have “bread and butter” items. Our Powder Blue Tangs, Cleaner Shrimp and Lion Fish cannot be beaten in either quality or price and unlike other sources, our Sri Lankan marine fish are guaranteed 100% hand caught.
TFI is the first organisation to be permitted to manufacture and export aqua cultured live rock in Sri Lanka. We are proud to pioneer this manmade and sustainable product, which helps to preserve our reefs worldwide. Our aqua cultured Indian Ocean live rock is covered in growth and coralline algae. It also comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, for a natural look that is almost undistinguishable from the real thing.
Our latest Group owned facility is being added and constructed. The site will produce both CITES and Non-CITES live rock, soft and hard coral as well as a source for marine fish such as Smaller Angels, Damsels, Gobies, etc. The company owned management and facilities, allows ownership of the supply chain and the best practices of collection and holding.
Established as a Group owned facility in 2015 - the Group is able to give a first-hand GUARANTEE of hand caught marine fish, from the Maldives. They are a supporting station for the Sri-Lankan facility and are a primary source for Tangs, Anthias, Butterflies and some rare fish such as Armitage Angel and Mitratus Butterfly.
We currently offer the following products including farm-raised freshwater fish and plants, hand caught saltwater fish and aqua cultured corals and live rock.
A global supply chain means we are able to provide the flexibility to custom tailor a delivery programme, to meet the needs of customers of all sizes. For distributors and wholesalers, we are able to ship direct from our farms and collection facilities in Sri Lanka and Thailand, to our UK Headquarters.
Each package is custom packed, to withstand the weather, at both the destination and connection cities whilst in transit and is tracked until successfully delivered. This results in the safer and healthier arrival of all the livestock.
